Decided this space should see fresh text as I upload 150,000,000 portfolio pieces.
Canvases Do Like Numbers
Entering now to log a low point in production. This semester, my sketchbooks don't have a lot of work to do. What does appear in them is half-developed code.
Art and interactivity aren't as integrated on the web as they should be. Artist looking at spreading their own work should also look at the code supporting it, and this isn't something easy to start believing in.
While as an artist you might simply want your Adobe products to speak directly to the internet, forming a directly proportional environment to the page that appears on anyone's monitor, it's not even a distress that such a thing isn't so simple.

My desk has knee room?
I'm back at college, and back off schedule.
A small contribution of art may actually be forthcoming, though. I have a camera now, and it might be worth taking snapshots of first-semester classwork before scoring campus for a big enough scanner. (doesn't exist)
My pantry [drawer] is restocked, my dirty bastard amount of crap is in place after the holidays. I've got no ties and no qualms and room to go up.
I'm excited to get back to campus organizations, but it feels rather strange to post seriously on the Game Design group's [hello kitty themed] board, as nobody really uses it. I realize I'm part of the problem in that regard.

O Reader
As a nerd memoir, these updates have become utterly insufficient. However, I always knew that, collated, they would make a horribly crappy book, so it's kind of irrelevant.
I'll start with an awesome quote for no reason at all:
"O reader, turn the leaves gently,
and keep your fingers away from the letters,
for, as the hailstorm ruins the harvest of the land,
so does the injurious reader destroy
the book and the writing.
As the final harbour is welcome to a sailor,
so is the final line to the scribe.
Deo gratis semper."

I have a performance and an installation project behind me and a ton of horribly boring design make-
Return of the Post-it
A deviantart-specific journal? Preposterous.
Great trips and dorm supplies are coming up fast. I'm going home to Chapel Hill and finally getting the opportunity to go visit Elon for a while this weekend. I'm excited for that trip, and it's great that it just fits this time, and well. Last time I went to Chapel Hill I was more or less stuck with an art project, barring my ride back and forth from college. (and barring a ridiculously good dinner with the same friend and family who drove me)
It's extra that I get to bring the core dorm stuff back with me that I didn't have down in Charlotte yet: a newer, working TV, a 360, and a decent blanket
